Editorial Philosophy
As writers and editors of Write Here, Write Now we dedicate ourselves to the educational, experiential, and relational growth of both the undergraduates and graduates of UA Little Rock; interacting sensitively and intentionally with our collaborators and/or audience; striving to be knowledgeable about best practices of author, topic, genre, and audience; and progressing our communication with each other and the world on the subject of writing on the web.
Many of the contributing writers come from strong writing and/or website development backgrounds. We value every person’s fresh perspective whether undergraduate or graduate or writer or editor and defend the freedom of students to openly write about any appropriate topic of their choosing without fear of prejudice, reprisal, or overly harsh criticism by refraining from bias and subjectivity.
We value independence, honesty, integrity, courtesy, and excellence in delivering the highest quality blog possible through some of the following methods:
- All borrowed videos, images, quotes, etc. are credited.
- No publication is plagiarized content.
- Blogs are tailored to suit the needs of our audience
- Blogs and feedback faithfully respect representation of authors’ words and ideas.
- This educational space meets the learning outcomes of Writing on the Web as professored by Londie Martin, PhD.
